Forum Rules
- Only one account per person is allowed. Additional accounts will be deleted without warning.
- Do not impersonate anyone whom you are not. Identity theft is illegal and will not be tolerated.
- You must keep your forum password secret. Anything posted under your account name will be considered to have been posted by you.
- Be nice to each other! We won't tolerate rudeness, swearing, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposefully argumentative posts directed towards other members or the forum staff.
- Don't deliberately start arguments. Debates are great, as long as they remain respectful!
- This isn't the place to settle disagreements with other members or forum staff. Complaints should be dealt with via the forum's private message system, and not on the open forums. Settle your disputes in private please.
- Please remember that we have many young members and we would ask that you remember this and post appropriately, making sure the language and content of your posts are appropriate for a young audience.
- Don't post pornographic, illegal or adult content. This also includes promoting activities such as drug abuse, gambling and links to sites containing such content.
- Though we welcome visitors from any country, all posts must be written in English (or an accurate translation of the content provided).
- Don't post libellous or defamatory statements about any individual or organisation (libel is writing something that lowers someone in public opinion). Under UK law, the forum and its owners and managers may also be subject to legal proceedings in the same way the original poster would be, where a defamatory statement has been made publicly, and we have no desire to find ourselves in court. Please don't put the Club at risk by making defamatory statements.
- We want our forum to be open to people of all ages, genders, nationalities, races, religions, and sexualities. Discriminatory words or actions against any forum member or other individual or group outside of the forum won’t be tolerated. Inappropriate or offensive posts will be deleted and sanctions imposed in line with our Forum Sanctions Policy.
- Our moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any posts they consider to be 'spam' and to remove the forum account of persistent spammers.
- Don't post the same topic in multiple forums. If you're not sure where a post should go, state that in your post, and a moderator will move it if necessary. Multiple posts are unnecessary and will be deleted.
- Posts that aren't easily legible may be edited by forum staff and/or the member warned. If the post isn't made acceptable within 3 days of the warning, it will be deleted without further warning.
- Your forum signature should not be used for advertising. Any links should be in your account profile and should be for personal sites only, unless agreed with the forum staff.
- Images in signatures should be small and not obtrusive. The maximum text signature size is 3 lines of text. Any signatures deemed too large or obtrusive by our Moderators will be removed.
- Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us, our members, or our Administrators or Moderators, are prohibited, and we reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.
- All material (this includes text, images, code, and logos/trademarks) on the forum is protected under international law under copyright legislation and should not be used without permission.
- It's your responsibility to establish the copyright status of any material that you use in your posts. The forum staff will not be held liable for the content of postings by members.
Forum Sanctions Policy- Persistent low level possible breaking of the forum's rules – An informal warning issued by a Moderator or Administrator warning that if the behaviour continues a formal warning may be issued.
- 1st Offence – A formal warning. A polite Private Message from a Moderator pointing out the Forum Rules, in addition to the editing or deletion of the post.
- 2nd Offence – A second formal warning. Public warning on the forum plus deletion of post. A 7 day ban may be imposed.
- 3rd Offence – A final formal warning. Moderators and Administrators will discuss and possibly ban the user from the forum either temporarily, or permanently.
- Depending on the severity of the situation, Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to bypass any and all of these steps and take whatever action is deemed appropriate.
- Records of warnings issued will be held for a period of 12 months before being considered "spent."
The forum staffs' decision in all matters of behaviour on the forum is final – don't try arguing with us – you won't win!
By joining the forum, you agree to abide by the forum rules as stated in the registration agreement and these rules. Failure to abide by these rules may result in an editing, moderation or deletion of your post and/or account. We reserve the right to ban abusers from the site. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.
Please report any member whom you feel to be in violation of these rules to a moderator or Administrator immediately. If you feel a post violates any of these rules, or you need to bring it to the attention of a moderator for any reason, please use the "report to moderator" link on each post to notify the moderators.
