Welcome to the home of Gosport BMX Club.

2012 is going to be another exciting year for Gosport BMX!

The club has had an excellent start to the year coming third in the National Series 2012 as can be seen here

The Club was formed in 2007 and has grown rapidly since then. We aim to involve the local community as well as attracting new riders from all over the area. BMX Racing is a fun and exciting sport, suitable for anyone aged from 4 to over 40, male or female.

Regional at Andover Postponed

The Regional Race at Andover on Sunday 29 April 2012 has been postponed due to the weather.

Coaching for 2012

In order to improve the coaching sessions for all riders, the following schedule is in place:

1000 - 1100 Beginner and Novice training ( Club coaches will split groups on the day)

1100 - 1200 Open gate practise

1200 - 1300 Intermediate and advanced training (Club coaches will split groups on the day)

Riders wishing to take part in the training sessions must be ready to start on time and be expected to stay for the complete session. Hi Vis bibs will be worn by riders during training sesssions, which we wil provide. PLEASE ENSURE YOU TURN UP ON TIME, RIDERS WHO ARE LATE WILL BE ASKED TO COME BACK NEXT WEEK. BEING LATE MEANS YOU MISS OUT ON THE WARM UP AND CAUSE DISRUPTION TO THOSE RIDERS WHO WERE ON TIME.

£2 to members and £3 non members ( this applies to gate practise as well)

A lot of time and effort has been and will be put in to make these sessions work, so please give us 100% effort and support in this.

2012 National Dates & Venues

Dates and venues for the 2012 National series can be seen at the British Cycling Website.

As soon as the regionnal dates are announced, we will publish those as well. We can then plan for the clubs race series.
